The Principals:
John Parisi, together with his wife Christine, are the proprietors of International Forklifts Rentals and Sales and as independent operators the company is well known in an industry that is dominated by major players. Through implementing sound business practices, International Forklifts has become a recognised name in the forklift trade in Australia for almost 30 years. John and Christine will not waiver from the company's philosophy of honesty and integrity in its dealings with their customers.

The Begining:
"In 1966 John was employed by Hyteco the then Australian distributer for Hyster. In the 10 years with Hyteco he attended service and product training courses in Canada, England and the USA which enabled him to acquire valuable knowledge of the forklift industry which was then dominated by the large American forklift manufacturers. It was in 1978 after working 2 more years for other organisations 'John & Christine' formed the company 'International Fork lifts'- Melbourne IFS) from these humble beginnings of doing just about everything from changing a starter motor or the tyres to major overhauls, IFS started to establish a reputation as being an reliable company to deal with. It was in this period that "IFS' started to purchase good quality, second hand forklifts as the start-up of a rental fleet. When 'IFS' had a major forklift overhaul to carry out they would offer a rental unit to their customers at a competitive price so they weren't inconvenienced. So started the 'IFS Rental Fleet'. This fleet has now grown to a sizable fleet in Melbourne and a small but efficient rental and service customer base in New south Wales.

Our Successes:
Through its solid connections and involvement in the timber industry and a growing need for long load and narrow aisle forklift trucks 'IFS' were appointed the Australian agents to sell and maintain the Fiora and B-P Battioni & Pagani products which manufacture some of Europe's finest Side loaders and Quadri Lift Multi- Directional Forklifts. Our future company growth will be determined by us maintaining a close relationship of our customers and by understanding their needs.
